A new episode is up. Sean and I discuss our first week in Singapore.

Sean is definitely more disappointed in the coffee situation than me and could probably dedicate a whole episode to just that topic. The heat is dragging me down more because it’s hard to transport Ripley around in the Ergo Carrier because he gets very hot and sweaty and I get nervous that he is going to overheat. I want to very badly go to some of the nature reserves and see fancy birds and monkeys. I’m sure I’ll figure it out.

The people of Singapore are very nice, the food is absolutely delicious, and it’s the cleanest city that I have ever been to. Even Little India, which is notorious for being on the rough and tumble side in other cities, is spotless.

I’m trying to get some business ideas going while I’m here in Singapore so although it sucks to be inside more than I like, I’m getting a lot done. This will hopefully mean that I have more free time when we are in Paris for July and August. I adore that city and it will be hard to keep me inside.

I wrote a couple of blog posts on Singapore Metblogs that cover a bunch of interesting Singapore related Twitter accounts and sites that help you find stuff to do here: http://singapore.metblogs.com/

My goal for this week is to see a monkey. In the wild, aka nature preserve, not the Night Safari.

TTFN!
